How to join
- Fill out our Sign Up Form
- We will contact the youth’s parent/caregiver to schedule a one-hour welcome meeting with them and the youth at a convenient place (their home, a library, a rec center). This meeting is to connect us all and answer any questions.
- We will meet again for the youth to set three goals. Middle school students’ goals relate to education and career exploration. High school students’ goals relate to job skill readiness, financial literacy, job placement exploration, and college campus visit experiences.
- We work with the youth for 6-12 months to support their goals, provide mentorship, and share resources as needed.
Involvement in these programs is free for young people in Baltimore City aged 10-19. Youth will enjoy activities, including visits to UMBC, Loyola, and other fun group events. Any adult can refer youth to work with us. This program also supports the families of youth, so we will need the contact information of the parent/caregiver of the youth being referred to this program.
